Purpose: To give students a basic understanding of an electrical circuit. This board teaches the concepts of current loops, power consumption, and series and parallel circuits. Components: 6 V recharable battery  two LEDs (light emitting diodes) 1 yellow, 1 green  one light bulb (red)  connector plugs for components  two resistors to limit current to LEDs  one circuit breaker or "sentry" circuit ( to protect against short circuiting the battery )
