modules for electronics, magnetism & optics. The QUESTBOARDS project
operates like a local lending library which provides several components.
They are available for use in your classroom this week. |

Features and benefits of QUESTBOARD teaching
modules:
- Self-contained: no other
materials are needed, boards were designed to be complete upon delivery
- Fully visible:
boards are made of clear plastic that will easily fit on a table top and
all parts can be easily seen (no mysterious "magic" electronics going on)
- Standards-based:
lessons designed and tested by teachers for teachers and are tied to specific
grade-level science content standards
- Brought to you:
delivery and pick-up by UCSB undergraduate engineering students
- Come with support:
in addition to the teacher's guide, udergraduates
are available for content support before the lesson (for the teacher) and/or
during the lesson (for the students) AND you can arrange for a teacher workshopor
tutorial at your school, for a refresher about the science behind any or
all of the QUESTBOARDS - led by a science teacher familiar with standards
and lesson planning!
