Hobbies and Interests:
I was born and grew up in a small city northwest of Mexico, close to the most
sunny and beautiful beaches that the pacific ocean can offer. Sunsets
are great at this latitude. Besides Physics, I have interest in Ancient
History, especially the Greek-Roman and the Mexican native cultures.
About me: I started my study of Physics in my hometown where
I got my B.S. Then I decided to move to Mexico city and continue with my grad
studies, and finally I had the opportunity to come to Santa Barbara.
I have researched many different topics from string theory to condensed
matter. In winter 2004 I joined the Sherwin group looking for a place in which
I can realize good physics in pleasant atmosphere.
